Lisa is a four-time APRA Silver Scroll Award nominee, and was twice selected for the prestigious Banff Centre songwriter residency (Canada), where many of her notable songs were written.
Lisa has performed her own song arrangements with the Auckland Symphony Orchestra and opened for Suzanne Vega, John Mayer, Jools Holland, Paul Weller and Simply Red. More recently, Lisa donned her acting hat to star as ‘GIRL’ in the Tony Award-winning musical ‘Once’. Prior to this in 2017, the gig-theatre production ‘Elizabeth’ was co-created with Bullet Heart Club (Daffodils) featuring Lisa’s original songs and stories.
Lisa’s music can also be heard recently gracing the airwaves of TV shows ’Nancy Drew’, ‘Good Trouble’, ‘Stumptown’, ‘Proven Innocent’ , ‘The Secret That She Keeps’ as well as feature films ‘The Last Days of Capitalism’, ‘Revolt She Said’ and ‘WARU’ and you can see Lisa perform an on-screen musician on NBC’s ‘This is Us’.
As well as being an award-winning songwriter, Lisa has a vast repertoire of songs and performs regularly as a pianist/vocalist at some of the most prestigious venues in Los Angeles including The San Vincente Bungalows, The Dresden, The Stowaway and The Hotel Cafe.
